Hearty welcome to all the dignitaries, parents, grandparents, teachers,
supporting staff and my dear students. It is my privilege to present the
Annual report of our school for the academic year 2023-24.
With the blessings of the divine, our school was inaugurated on 5th April
2018 for the first academic year, and we started our journey with 1477
students. This successful journey continued with a profound increase in
students year by year leading to 3500 students. Now, in this 7

celebration let me present the highlights of AY 2023-24.
Grade XII Board exam results
Our 37 students of 12th standard's 1st batch appeared for board exams and
came out with 100% pass in the 1st class with 43% distinction and the
highest average in English among all the Amrita Vidyalayams in TN &
Pondicherry.
Prajin.M is the school topper who secured 467/500 followed by M.G.Depika
who is the second topper by securing 453/500. The third topper is A.
Sooryavarthini who secured 446/500.
And the subject toppers are:
M.G. Depika in English.
Prajin.M in Maths, Physics & Computer Science.
M.Sai Janani in Chemistry.
P.A Sai Roopa in Biology & IP.
R.M.Divya in Business Studies, Accountancy & Economics.
Nafiya Adil.A & Roshini.A in Physical Education.

Grade X Board exam results
We have sent 3 batches of Class 10 so far, obtaining 100% pass percentage
for all the 3 consecutive years. Out of 116 students who appeared for the
Class 10 board exam for the AY 2023-24, 46% of students secured
distinction and 89% secured first class, with 1 student scoring centum in
Tamil.
Mrinalini Sai.S is the topper who secured 477/500 followed by B.Krithikesh
who is the second topper by securing 476/500. The third topper is K.Pranav
who secured 472/500.
And the subject toppers are:
K.S.Dhanusree in Tamil by securing centum & topper in Maths.
Mrinalini Sai in English, Hindi & Social Science.
Annapoorani in Sanskrit.
V.Giriharan in Science.
C.Mirudhula & M.Yuvaraj in IT.
Assessments
Assessments are very essential as they measure students' achievements in
order to maximize the learning and to modify instructions according to
individual needs. We conducted 2 periodic assessments and 2 terminal
assessments for classes 1 to 9 and 11.
Parent Teacher Meet
After each assessment, we conduct parent-teacher meetings as it is an
opportunity to exchange observations of a child with each other. Sharing
daily experiences and observations provide a wider prospect for parents and
teachers to plan, prepare, and execute plans for better learning outcomes for
a child.
Competitions Inter Intra
Intra school competitions
To encourage and to enhance creative skills, various competitions are
conducted for the students of all classes and they are honoured with prizes.
Bhagavad Gita chanting competition was conducted for all the classes.

3 to 5
Devotional singing, invitation making, clay modelling, pot painting,
speech, spell bee, Thirukkural and Doha recitation.
6 to 8
Garland making, vegetable carving, scenery making using grains,
essay writing, elocution, patriotic singing and painting.
9 to 12
Poster making, elocution, pencil sketch, garland making, advertising,
extempore and soap carving.
Quiz competition was also conducted for classes 4 to 12.
Inter-school competitions
Maths & Scientific Expo were conducted by Sudharshanam
Vidyashram on 07.07.2023. Nimra Fathima & Sooryavarthini of Class
12 got 1st prize in science static model. Praveen Johnson and Prajin
of Class 12 got 2nd prize for paper presentation on Mathematical
concepts. J. Bharath & V. Arvinda Lochan of Class 11 got 2nd prize
for the working model of a Mathematical concept.
Model G20 summit was conducted by Chinmaya Vidyalaya Alapa on
31.07.2023. Bharathi of Class 11 received a special prize.
Ashmith R. of Class 6 & Mahalakshmi G. of Class 5 won 3rd and
consolation prizes in Samskrita Sloka competition conducted by
Jaigopal Garodia on 07.09.2023.
Jeppiar College conducted a competition on coding mafia on
06.01.2024, Keerthivasan of Class 11 received a special mention
prize.
Sairam Polytechnic College conducted various competitions where
our students Vishnupriya, Sai Tejasvi, Sai Ganesh, Nakshatra,
Lakshmee Shree Bai, Sarvesh N won prizes in oratorical, singing,
meme creation, solo dance, craft work, and photography.
Swamy’s school conducted competitions on the theme Prakriti.
Mrinalini, Nadeem, N.Sarvesh, Haris, Suveatha, Mithun, Lakshman,
and Prajin won various prizes in mind voice, vegetable carving, and
adzap.
Balotsavah competitions were conducted by Samskrita Bharati in
Uttara Tamilnadu, 25 students won prizes in Amrita Geetham,
Rupakam, Vesha Bhushanam, Shishu Geeetham, Vagbhushanam,
Sambhashana Pradarshanam and brought laurels to the school.

Field trip
The students were taken on field trips. Field trips provide students, the
opportunity, to take a break from their normal routine and experience
hands-on learning.
Students of classes 10 to 12 were taken to Pondicherry, 6 to 9 to
Dakshinchitra and 4 & 5 students to Birla Planetarium.
Celebrations
The following events were celebrated last year.
To create awareness among the students to conserve our
environment, we celebrated World Environment Day on 05.06.2023.
To imbibe the practice of yoga in young minds, International Yoga Day
is celebrated on 21
st
June every year.
To bring up the leadership qualities among the children, leaders were
selected and students council was formed on 13.07.2023 ie. Sthana
Arohanam.
To instigate spiritual values among the children, we celebrated
Gurupurnima on 03.07.2023, 04.07.2023 & 05.07.2023,
Janmashtami on 15.09.2023, Gita day on 29.12.2023 and AMMA’s
birthday on 03.10.2023.
To exchange the culture, we celebrated Onam on 28.08.2023, Diwali
on 08.11.2023.

Teacher’s day was celebrated on 05.09.2023 and Children’s day on
14.11.2023 in the name of Amrita Utsav.
To recognize and respect the work of great people, we observed
Vivekananda day & Thiruvalluvar day on 22.01.2024.
Independence day and Republic day were celebrated to instill
patriotism among the students.
Sanskrit day was celebrated on 20.09.2023 to encourage the students
to learn and get familiar with the language.
C-20 activities
Our school actively took part in C-20 activities like One Million Lights
Campaign, Seed Ball Activity, Aikyam, Formation of C20 Logo, Bring
Challenge of Smile, 999 Challenge (Surya Namaskar).
Workshops
CBP workshop hosted by CBSE was conducted at our school on
06.01.2024. It gave an insight about NEP 2020 to the teachers.
Hindi teachers attended a workshop on 26.05.2023 regarding NEP
conducted by Shri. Rajesh Kumar Shukla.
Understanding visual and creative writing workshop was conducted
by Smt. Geetha Krishnan for PRT & TGT teachers on 29.05.2023.
Social science teachers attended workshops on 31.05.2023 &
21.07.2023.
Workshop on effective English language teaching and National
curriculum framework was conducted by Madhuban on 28.07.2023.
Beyond the offline workshops mentioned above, teachers have
attended online webinars, workshops and have been trained through
Diksha portal.
My sincere thanks to all the well-wishers for your continued support. Your
support truly energizes us. We remain grateful to all the parents for reposing
their unparalleled trust in us which propels us to march ahead with greater
commitment and enthusiasm.
With God’s grace and guidance under the maternal care of our beloved
AMMA Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, we hope to move forward with
innovation in our educational programmes and intellectual development. I
